QR Hero

Overview

QR-Hero is a dynamic QR code platform with real-time analytics, built for businesses that need trackable, editable QR codes rather than static images. I originally built it to serve local clients, then launched it publicly. With minimal marketing, it has grown to more than 3,800 registered users (around 2,659 with verified emails) plus a paying subscriber base, with steady month-over-month MRR growth since launch in November 2025. Already shipped: dynamic QR codes with editable destinations, scheduled URL changes, and A/B testing; real-time scan analytics with geo-targeting and conversion and revenue tracking; bulk QR generation; PDF-to-QR hosting; AI-generated artistic QR codes; a full REST API with plan-based gating; and enterprise groundwork including team members, custom domains, API keys, and lead capture. It runs on a modern, clean stack (React 18, TypeScript, and Vite on the frontend; Node and Express on the backend; serverless PostgreSQL on Neon; hosted on Replit), with a native iOS companion app and a built-in programmatic SEO engine generating 96+ multi-language landing pages as a low-cost acquisition channel. Operating cost is low (about USD 82 per month), the platform is owner-operated and largely automated, the codebase is documented and production-ready, and billing runs through Stripe. This is a working product with real users and clear room to scale through marketing, free-to-paid conversion, and retention.
